Volunteering in America

More than 390,000 Idaho residents volunteered in 2006, providing 62.9 million hours of service valued at $1,180,164,670 according to a new federal report released this week as part of National Volunteer Week. This accomplishment ranks Idaho fourteenth in the nation for the rate of volunteering.
