The Bonner Foundation

The Bonner Leaders Program (BLP) is designed to heighten the overall educational experience of college students by providing "access to education and an opportunity to serve". The BLP affords college students an opportunity to use their energy, talents and leadership to engage in community service while providing developmental and financial support. Students engage in ongoing service work and leadership training to enhance tools and knowledge necessary to make their service more meaningful. Students may combine their work-study position (although a work-study award is not necessary to participate) with a Bonner Leader Position at the University of Idaho, Idaho State University or BYU-Idaho. The Bonner Foundation is a grantee of AmeriCorps and supports a national network of over 100 campuses and 2,500 Bonner students across the country.
