2008 AmeriCorps State Application Selected Compliance Guidelines for Idaho

· Grants will be submitted on-line using eGrants. For instructions, see www.cns.gov/egrants/index.html.

· The average cost per AmeriCorps member (FTE) will be $12,600.

· All applicants must submit a copy of the agency's most recent A-133 single audit report or audit results from other applicable OMB requirements to the Serve Idaho Commission.

· All applicants should provide an evaluation completed in the last four years, if one is available. Evaluations must include a one-paragraph summary as a coversheet.

· All AmeriCorps members are required to attend the Serve Idaho Annual Conference in Northern Idaho in February 2008. Registration fee for members is $95. Programs are responsible for travel, and lodging and per diem expenses for meals not included in event.

· As a portion of the annual training plan, programs must organize and host a Pre-service orientation in accordance with guidelines set by the Commission.

· All sub-grantees must have internet access, e-mail and software compatible with the Corporation for National and Community Service's web-based reporting system (WBRS), eGrants, and My AmeriCorps Portal.

· If and when awarded, all sub-grantees must comply with all federal and state guidelines including submission of required reports and attendance at quarterly Program Director Meetings. In addition, all program stationary, websites and press releases must state that funding is provided by Serve Idaho from the Corporation for National and Community Service.

· Programs must include $750 in their budgets to pay for Program Director training.

. In the 2008- 2009 program year, Serve Idaho will charge a fee from each program to help cover administrative costs. The administrative fee will consist of 1 % of the total CNCS program funds awarded. Please refer to page 25 of the AmeriCorps Application Instructions for guidance.

· Grant applications submitted after October 1, 2003, must provide a Dun and Bradstreet Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. The DUNS number is known as the universal identifier and helps the federal government improve statistical reports on federal grants and cooperative agreements. The DUNS number will not replace the EIN. DUNS numbers may be obtained at no cost by calling the DUNS number request line at 1- 866.705.5711 or online at http://www.dnb.com. It may take up to 30 days to receive a DUNS number after applying.
