Walkin the Talk

Courses

The student-centered workbook, "Know Thyself ~ Socrates" is the course text.  Social and emotional intelligence is discovered and taught from each student's perspective. Personal honesty-integrity is the foundation for greater character development and begins on the inside of the one in mirror.

We teach ourselves how to better understand the conversation between thoughts, emotions and actions. More positive choices can be made and taught when everyone understands the inside and outside connection between integrity, responsibility and purposeful choices.

ACA (All Caring Adults) 12 hour course for teachers, parents, counselors, and caring mentors, 18 years and older, who work with or aspire to work with young people. In order for our young people to effectively deal with life's issues, they need the positive support of at least one adult. We hope it's you!

MIT (Masters in Training) is an additional 6 hour course for teachers, counselors, and advanced instructors who would like to teach Walkin' the Talk's curriculum to their K-12 students.

Remember!  Any ACA and MIT graduate may re-attend any course.
